Creamy Fudge Frosting

Ingredients

2 cups Sugar
3 tablespoons Cocoa
1/3 cup White corn syrup
1/2 cup Milk
1 tablespoon Butter
1 teaspoon Salt

Method

Combine in saucepan the sugar, cocoa, corn syrup ~~amp milk. Bring to a hard boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Cool 15 minutes. Add butter ~~amp vanilla. (Be sure your timing is accurate.) Beat until the right consistency for spreading. Makes enough for two 8- or 9-inch layer cakes or 2 dozen cupcakes.
